Sarcastic Klopp scoffs at Salah’s non-existent ‘crisis’

Well played, Jurgen Klopp.

The manager has laughed off some of the nonsense being peddled by the media at the moment, that’s suggested Mo Salah is somehow struggling!

The Egyptian has two goals so far, including a winner against Brighton – and as Simon Brundish tweeted, has actually been at the centre of everything we’ve done well.

Klopp was asked about Salah’s supposed drought, despite the fact we’re six from six and go into tomorrow’s game against Southampton as heavy favourites.

“I have a good life. I do what I love to do. I am sometimes lucky, sometimes unlucky,” he told reporters at Melwood.

“Of course everybody expects [same as last year]. We don’t. What did he get [in first six] last season? Three. And two in six this season? Wow, that’s a crisis!

“He needed time last year, like we all needed time. And he will take time this season as well.”

Salah did score against PSG, but his goal was chalked off by the referee for a supposed foul by Daniel Sturridge on the keeper.

He also had some great moments against Spurs at the weekend and we think still should be the first name on our team-sheet.

It’s the job of all fans to get fully behind him at Anfield tomorrow. If he is feeling the pressure, let’s take some of it off his back and sing his song from minute one!
