LFC midfield target’s agent confirms Exit with deleted tweet

Aaron Ramsey will not sign a new contract at Arsenal and will leave either on a Bosman at the end of the season, or for a reduced fee in January.

His agency, Avid Sports & Entertainment Group, confirmed this news on Twitter, before deleting the exchange with a disappointed Arsenal fan.

The Mirror got hold of the tweets before they were erased, however.

‘Given us some good memories. But Alexis has shown grass ain’t always greener,’ @afcharlie tweeted…

Before Ramsey’s agency replied: ‘You’re right. It isn’t always greener and he didn’t want to leave, but now there is no other option.’

Ramsey has been linked to Liverpool as a potential option and we recently produced a lengthy tactical analysis of what the Welshman could offer.

In our opinion, Adam Lallana’s body is letting him down far too often. The Englishman has picked up yet another niggling injury and we simply can’t rely on him going forward. Ramsey is a younger, healthier version with much more end-product and if he can secure him on a free, it’s a no-brainer.

We would however prefer Adrien Rabiot from PSG, with the France international also running his contract down. He scores less, but has more guile centrally, is smarter positionally and in the transition phase.
