Klopp explains beautiful conversation with Sarri

Jurgen Klopp loves a soundbite, doesn’t he?

But the thing with Liverpool’s manager is that he doesn’t drop them for headlines; he does so because he’s so charismatic and is such an exceptional talker, he can’t help it!

The boss was on top form during today’s press-conference ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester City at Anfield and promised his side would do everything to bounce back from the midweek Champions League defeat to Napoli.

He was though asked about the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last week, which saw Liverpool and Maurizio Sarri’s Blues play out an extraordinarily impressive technical game of football.

“The most important job is entertaining the people. It’s not the biggest thing, we do not save lives,” Klopp explained.

“If we win at the end, then I’ll enjoy the City game. I had it last week at the end of Chelsea, Sarri saw me smiling and said ‘ Did you enjoy that?’ and I said ‘Yes… I did’.”

Liverpool’s team will be very similar to the one that played Napoli, except Naby Keita is unlikely to start following his back problem and Jordan Henderson should come in as the no.6.

He’s actually very good in big games at Anfield, such as when we beat PSG a few weeks back, so we have every faith that he’ll lead the side with aplomb.
