Mo Salah was the Reds match-winner at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield, netting his first Premier League goal since scoring against Southampton a month ago.

But he says that his personal goalscoring exploits are irrelevant as long as the team are winning.

Salah told BT Sport, via Liverpoolfc.com: “I’m not worried [about my form]. As long as I’m helping the team get points I don’t worry.

“It’s a good feeling [to score]. But, as I said last season, the most important thing is to help the team to get points. We are on track so we are happy about the result.”

It was around this time last season that Salah exploded into goalscoring form, ending the campaign with 44 strikes – let’s hope that the same thing can happen this time around.

Not having been on fire so far this season is certainly nothing to be concerned about while the Reds are picking up points with regularity.
