Bobby Duncan has surfaced as one of the latest young English prospects to drift onto the radar of Borussia Dortmund.
The Liverpool striker has been identified as a reported target for the Bundesliga side amid their efforts to uncover the next Jadon Sancho.
Dortmund find themselves gloating a steal in the 18-year-old, who has flourished in Germany since signing from Manchester City for £8million in summer 2017.
Sancho is currently the joint-highest assist-maker across Europe’s top five leagues, with both he and AC Milan’s Suso boasting a tally of six.
Such has been his burst onto the scene that he was recently rewarded with a maiden call-up to the senior England squad and a subsequent debut in the goalless draw with Croatia.
Dortmund are now keen to pluck more untapped potential from the Premier League, and have been watching Duncan in view of a potential move, reports the Mirror’s John Cross.
Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odo and Manchester City’s Phil Foden have also caught the eye, although the latter will undoubtedly prove difficult to prize away from the Etihad in light of Sancho’s success following his departure.

Duncan signed for Liverpool from Manchester City last summer for a compensation fee in the region of £200,000 having practically lost a year of his career over a contract dispute.
The 17-year-old immediately teamed up with Barry Lewtas’ U18s and has since registered six goals and three assists in seven U18 Premier League matches.
Dortmund’s reported interest will be of some concern to Liverpool after fears earlier this year of losing Rhian Brewster to the lure of regular first-team football in Germany.
Duncan’s glowing reputation spreads onto the international stage, with the Reds starlet having become the first England player across all levels to score a hat-trick against Brazil back in 2016.
