Martin Keown has criticised Mo Salah, saying he ‘doesn’t want to get hurt’, adding that he looks like a different player to last season.

Quite what the former central defender knows about attacking, we don’t know, but he’s certainly never shy of voicing an opinion.

It didn’t quite go to plan for the Reds this evening, but to say something like that is really strange. Salah didn’t get his final ball right on the night, but that has nothing to do with fear of getting injured.
It’s been massively overexaggerated how bad Salah has been this season – we certainly have no concerns over him. This criticism is well wide of the mark.
