Stoke City midfielder Darren Fletcher has become the latest pundit to pile plaudits onto the Reds’ exceptional defender Virgil van Dijk, calling him a ‘monster’.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Fletcher said: “He’s made a massive difference to Liverpool. He’s a monster, really, so big and powerful, he cruises through games. He’s top class.”
