Liverpool simply don’t get penalties at Anfield in the Premier League. In fact, it’s now been 378 days since we were awarded one – the longest barren spot-kick run since 2002.

In that time, countless rivals have been awarded penalties, such as Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City, but Liverpool have not.
It’s statistically impossible, considering how we always have the majority of the ball and the attacks at Anfield, that we genuinely haven’t warranted one.
Hopefully in our upcoming home clashes with the likes of Everton, Manchester United and Newcastle – we might get some luck!
