‘He’s been dreadful’ Reds fume at fan-favourite after another nightmare

Roberto Firmino is not enjoying a good season and endured a disappointing afternoon against Everton in the Merseyside Derby.

The Brazilian lost the ball continuously, made poor decisions and failed to link up effectively with Mo Salah or Sadio Mane.

Fans couldn’t understand how Firmino stayed on the pitch until the final ten minutes, when he had played so badly..

Instead, Jurgen Klopp replaced Mo Salah with Daniel Sturridge, much to the dismay of supporters at the time.

We’re not exactly sure what’s been wrong with Bobby this term. Last season, he bagged 27 goals in all competitions and was exceptionally creative to boot.

But in 2018/19, he’s only showed his quality fleetingly. Much of the issue with our offence has been explained by the lack of a playmaker; although we’d suggest the fact Firmino has been so average has played a large part of that too.
