(Video) Watch Bobby Duncan’s four goals & two assists vs. Middlesbrough

Bobby Duncan provided a full exhibition of his predatory striker’s touch on Saturday as he scored four goals to help Liverpool’s U18s towards a 6-5 win over Middlesbrough.

Besides taking his tally to a superb 16 in his first season at the club, the striker also turned provider for teammates Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Paul Glatzel.

The teenager’s first arrived after just three minutes when he was left unmarked to run onto a lofted pass, before cutting inside and firing home with his left foot.

Having watched his side concede two, Duncan proceeded to tee up Dixon-Bonner for the equaliser and then put Liverpool ahead with another clinical left-footed finish from just outside the penalty area.

Boro scored a goal either side of the interval to restore their lead, only for Duncan to level things up again with an expertly-timed header from Abdi Sharif’s cross.

The hosts were ahead again in the 65th minute courtesy of Isaac Fletcher, until Duncan cushioned Fidel O’Rourke’s cross and rifled the ball low into the bottom corner.

Liverpool’s perseverance was rewarded in the final minute when Duncan’s mis-hit volley set up Glatzel for a dramatic winner.

Here’s a look at the 17-year-old’s impressive outing…
