Naby Keita was pretty much Liverpool’s only bright light in the first-half against Burnley tonight.
The team looked shy of ideas, and while the Guinean was by no means at his brilliant best, he at least looked happy to run with the ball in midfield.

Neither Jordan Henderson or James Milner have that in the locker.
Keita’s first touch is always positive and he can beat an opponent from standstill.
This 45 minute cameo proves he’ll be a valuable asset for us over this busy festive schedule, but thankfully, he maintained that level as Liverpool went on to win 3-1.
We really hope Keita can maintain this kind of form and look to get on the ball as much as possible.
He’s technically our best midfielder by some distance.

Keita probably the only positive from that half. Probably the worst team in the league right now and we’ve not created anything of note. Need to step up but we really should be able to do so easily #LFC

Keita the best player in white so far, though I think Origi deserves a special mention – has ran the channels well and his hold up play has been excellent so far #BURLIV

Easily Keita’s best half for us so far. Arguably our best (or 2nd best after VVD) player in the first 45.

Keita is a just little boss isn’t he? My man glides up the pitch in an instant. His potential for us is unmistakable.
