Some exceptional Naby Keita stats emerge from Burnley win

Naby Keita has arrived, Reds!

The midfielder made his first Premier League start for Liverpool since early October tonight, and walked away with the Man of the Match award.

Keita continuously showed an ability to drive through midfield via his dribbling skills, and smart linkup play to boot.

It’s been tricky for the Guinean this term, but the 3-1 Burnley win will hopefully be known as his coming of age…

He was mightily unlucky not to score, forcing Joe Hart into at least two superb saves and playing a part in our first goal, too.

Keita had the most shots, shots on target, tackles and blocks on the pitch – which demonstrates his ability in both defence and offence.

What’s more, he completed 93% of his passes, the best of any player.

Considering he was playing an aggressive role, this is especially impressive.

With Fabinho playing well in the Merseyside Derby, it seems like Liverpool’s marquee summer midfield signings have finally come good!

And just in time for the hectic festive schedule to boot…

Keep up the good work!
