Liverpool broke a 126-year record with victory over Burnley

Our victory last night over Burnley means that this season’s start to the campaign is Liverpool’s best in our 126-year history.

We’ve got 12 wins and three draws from 15 games, which really is a jaw-dropping run – all things considered.

It’s just our luck that we’re still two points off top placed Manchester City, probably the best team in the Premier League’s history, but what can we do?

They don’t get any more points for waltzing past teams in style than we do for our battling victories.

Pep Guardiola’s outfit are incredible, but they won’t win every single game. Neither will we, but points will be dropped by both teams and it’ll be our job to take advantage of any situation they provide us.

There’s been plenty of complaints about Liverpool’s style this term, but when you hear about the record we’ve broken, it makes them look ridiculous.

We should be over the moon with the results we’ve so far racked up.

It’s Bournemouth on Saturday, and with City facing Chelsea, we could be top by the end of the weekend!

Fingers crossed…
