Good news & bad: Robertson & Mane updates before Bournemouth tie

Andrew Robertson will be available to start our tie with Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime, but it doesn’t look like Sadio Mane will make the match-day squad again…

The Express claim the Scot is back in full training and as a result, will likely take the place of Alberto Moreno, who did alright in fairness v Burnley, at left-back.

There was ‘no sign’ of Mane on Thursday afternoon, which means unless he gets back on the Melwood training field at some point today, he’s unlikely to feature.

The Senegalese has a nasty cut on his foot that he picked up against Everton in the Merseyside Derby and he was unavailable midweek as a result.

In his absence, Jurgen Klopp selected a front-three of Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri – and we reckon one of those will take his place tomorrow alongside a rested Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino.

The latter two came on in the second-half, but should be feeling good after only playing 30 minutes each.

Our predicted XI: Alisson; Trent, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita; Shaqiri, Salah, Firmino
