Reds target urged to make switch to ‘higher profile team’

Christian Pulisic has been told to leave Borussia Dortmund and head to a more high-profile team.

The Reds and Jurgen Klopp are known admirers of the American international, having had a bid of around £11 million turned down in 2016, and have been linked with him ever since.

Last week, it was reported by The Standard that Pulisic favours a move to Liverpool over Chelsea, another team who are rumoured to want him.

Former USA international Alexi Lalas told Cowherd: “There are teams all over the world that would love to have Christian Pulisic right now.

“I think he’s done a great job in going over to Germany, he’s done a great job at Borussia Dortmund, but I think it’s time for a change right now for Christian Pulisic, and a change to an even higher profile team.”

The 20-year-old has all the potential in the world to become a superstar, and it would make perfect sense for the Reds to move for him.

Klopp is a big fan and he would be a great off-the-field signing too given the support the club has in the States. With only 18 months remaining on his Dortmund contract, he is not a name that will be coming off the rumour mill any time soon.
