And while some of his linkup play could’ve been slightly better during the evening, there were a few moments which showcased his incredible finesse.
We missed much of the skill last night, such was the emotion of the game, but this clip has surfaced due to its genius. Look at how Bobby controls the ball and then sends Sadio Mane on his way up the field:

Firmino will now likely get a rest against Wolves in the FA Cup, before returning to the lineup to face Brighton in the Premier League.
He may have started the season a little quietly following his World Cup exploits, but Bobby is purring at the moment.
Being used slightly deeper, with Mo Salah the focal point, he’s really come back into his own.
We actually think performance wise, last night was quite good – which means we have no concerns about us getting back on track results wise next time out.
