Gerrard eyeing another Liverpool player with January loan possible

Steven Gerrard has already taken Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria on loan from us this season, while bringing in former Red Jon Flanagan permanently.

And now, he’s after our teenage goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, according to the Express.

The Polish stopper currently keeps net for our U23s, and is realistically the third choice behind Alisson and Simon Mignolet.

However, his chances of playing for the first-team regularly look incredibly slim, considering the brilliance of our current Brazilian no.1.

Gerrard’s Rangers team are in pursuit of the SPL title and have just signed Jermaine Defoe on loan in their pursuit of ending Celtic’s dominance.

Stevie is clearly looking to strengthen all over, although we have doubts Grabara would get minutes north of the border either, due to the fact Rangers no.1 Allan McGregor has enjoyed a very good season.

Still, it’s probably smart for our rangy Pole to get a stint somewhere, as he’s too good for U23 football and needs an opportunity to further his development.
