Mats Hummels certainly thinks so – as do we!
The German did a Q&A on Twitter yesterday and answered the question about our Dutchman in no uncertain terms.

There were very mild suggestions that Hummels could join Liverpool on loan this January, but they were nonsensical with Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren all returning to action very shortly.
Still, the thought of a Van Dijk / Hummels partnership is fairly good fun!
