LFC give striker new contract following Trent & Robbo deals

Liverpool have a habit of extending the contracts of our youngsters, even if they’re not automatically destined for a future with the first-team.

This protects their value and means they can be sold to more suitable clubs further down the line.

Klopp has a belief Naby Keita will experience a change in coming months

Liam Millar has penned a new deal, but has been sent to Kilmarnock in Scotland to get some first-team football.

The Canadian is 19-years-old and has been a top performer in our youth teams for some time – but as of yet – hasn’t been in consideration for minutes under Jurgen Klopp.

We really hope he does well over the next four months. If he scores goals, Klopp may give him opportunities during the summer during pre-season.

In January, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson penned long-term extensions – both of whom obviously have a huge future at Anfield.

If the pair improve at the rate they’re currently managing, they could conceivably be recognised as two the best fullbacks in the world in years to come.
