Lazio progressed to the Copa Italia semi-finals last night after beating Inter Milan on penalties last night.
The game was 0-0 after 90 minutes, but goals from Ciro Immobile and Mauro Icardi (120+5!) made it 1-1 after Extra Time.
Our former cult-hero Lucas stepped up and scored the decisive spot-kick during the shoot-out to send his club into wild celebrations.
Lucas has done excellently in Italy and was awarded the club’s Player of the Year award in his debut campaign, ahead of the highly-rated Serg Milinkovic-Savic.
He missed a crucial penalty for Liverpool in the League Cup Final in 2016 against Manchester City, so we’re sure this was a great moment for the Brazilian.
And he’s such a good guy, we just like seeing him do well!
