Confirmed Liverpool XI vs. Bournemouth: forward misses out through injury

Jurgen Klopp has named one change to the side that drew with West Ham as Liverpool prepare to host Bournemouth at Anfield.

Georginio Wijnaldum replaces Adam Lallana in the starting line up after missing the clash at the London Stadium due to a minor knee problem.

The Dutchman features in midfield alongside Fabinho and Naby Keita, who keeps his place after a somewhat divisive performance in the capital.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is back on the bench after a three game absence, with James Milner once again being trusted at right-back. With Dejan Lovren still out with a muscle issue, Joel Matip retains his spot next to Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence.

Skipper Jordan Henderson is also available again after missing out through injury last time out, starting beside Alexander-Arnold on the bench.

One blow for Liverpool is the omission of Xherdan Shaqiri, who has been ruled out due to an abdominal strain, as confirmed on Liverpoolfc.com.
