If Liverpool are feeling the pressure of the Premier League title race, then they certainly aren’t showing it during their Marbella training camp.
The Reds have been all smiles in the warm weather thus far, with Saturday’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth restoring their confidence and the return of both Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster having undoubtedly lifted the mood.
Besides using the trip to Spain to continue preparations for Bayern Munich, Jurgen Klopp and his players are also evidently making the most of the opportunity to recharge.
As is often the way with Klopp’s mid-season training camps abroad, this has entailed both demanding physical exercises as well as valuable team-bonding opportunities.
The boss himself even got involved, teaming up with Sadio Mane to take on assistant Pepijn Lijnders and Roberto Firmino in a game of foot-tennis.
