‘He’s gone missing…’ Some Championship fans turn on Harry Wilson

Harry Wilson is enduring a somewhat quiet spell at Derby County, for the first time since he joined on loan last summer.

The Welshman, a key part of Frank Lampard’s attack, hasn’t scored or assisted in six games – which has actually led to some criticism from fans of the Championship club.

It’s not surprising that a player who’s only 21-years-old isn’t in top form for an entire season. But how he bounces back from this slow patch will be an important measure of his ability to deal with adversity.

There’s still plenty of games left in the Championship – and plenty of important ones to boot – considering Derby are fighting for a Play-Off finish.

Wilson already has 12 goals in total, and we’d love for him to get another five or so to cap a truly incredible season.

If he can finish on a high, he can be given a proper opportunity this summer during pre-season for Jurgen Klopp to check him out again.
