Jurgen Klopp’s bullish pre-Watford message to Reds supporters

Jurgen Klopp has used his Watford match programme notes to send a message to Reds fans.

The boss is certainly not concerned about draws in recent weeks – and it is exactly what we should all be wanting to hear from him at this point. There is absolutely no stressing going on inside the camp.

That desire and determination to succeed might sound like a simple thing – but it is a reminder of how good the Reds have been this season.

Our record at this stage of the season is simply stunning – and we would all have taken it in August. We should be enjoying the ride as much as possible – not panicking.

Mo Salah, who has come under some scrutiny recently for his performances, also spoke about the Reds’ new approach to matches.

Salah has scored in each of his three appearances for the Reds against Watford, including scoring four times against them at Anfield last season in a 5-0 win.

Replicating that tonight would be a big ask, but his form should not be a major concern – he’s still the top scorer in the Premier League this season.

Whoever the goalscorers are for the Reds, the only thing that matters is the three points tonight – it’s the first of 11 huge games from now until the end of the league season.
