Liverpool’s convincing 5-0 victory over Watford this evening was a comfortable one – but the Hornets very nearly got themselves on the scoresheet in the second half.
Alisson, though, denied them as he produced a simply stunning save to deny Andre Gray and preserve his clean sheet.

Tonight’s victory was the complete performance – from back to front, the Reds were excellent.
The forward players will rightly get most of the attention, but that save from Alisson deserves highlighting too. At the end of this season, there is no doubt he will have gained us at least 10 points.
Tonight’s moment of sheer brilliance was not the difference between one point and three, but it further underlined that we have a world-class goalkeeper on our hands – he deserves all the praise he gets and then some.
