Solksjaer jokes he’ll make Liverpool man homeless

Virgil van Dijk is currently renting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s mansion in Cheshire. The Manchester United manager is living in a hotel while he searches for a permanent home in the city.

The Norwegian has jokingly told the Daily Mail that he’s chucking the world’s best centre-back out!

“Yeah, he’s evicted,” he said.

Liverpool and United fans have been having fun with it too; with details emerging, via the Daily Mail, that Solksjaer can only move back into his home on van Dijk’s terms…

In the United Kingdom a tenant will typically have the right to stay in their accommodation even if the landlord wants them to leave – depending on the tenancy agreement.

It is however unlikely there’s any bad blood between the pros as the United manager probably isn’t living like Alan Partridge in the Lowry hotel.

Virgil may be enjoying his £4million mansion while Solksjaer lives in a hotel but we hope that he’s not too upset with the Liverpool man as United host Manchester City next month and we could use a favour!

Before then, the Reds have to play Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur – and it’s vital we keep up with City as there aren’t many more difficult opponents for our title rivals.
