Trent Alexander-Arnold speaks brilliantly on the Premier League title race

Trent Alexander-Arnold is playing a big role for Liverpool at the moment as the Reds chase down a Premier League and Champions League double, and he has been speaking about the title race ahead of the trip to Fulham tomorrow.

The Reds will go into the international break top of the table with a victory at Craven Cottage because Manchester City are playing in the FA Cup this weekend, but Alexander-Arnold knows the title race must be taken one small step at a time.

Speaking to Gary Lineker for the Premier League Show, he said: “I think it definitely excites us – not so much nervous tension, just eagerness. I think it’s important right now to stay focused.

“I’d say the league [would be best to win] because I know how much it means to the fans and how hard it is to win it. You’ve got to be so consistent over the whole season. We’ll see how it goes.”

The whole interview is well worth a watch – Trent comes across really well again and his maturity for a 20-year-old is striking.
