Ian Wright says he believes something must have gone on between Xherdan Shaqiri and Jurgen Klopp for the German not to be selecting him in his starting XI at the moment.
Shaqiri started the season really well but recently the likes of Adam Lallana and Divock Origi have found some form, leaving him rooted to the bench.
The Swiss’ last start for the club came back in January and he hasn’t even been used as a substitute in recent weeks.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5Live, via the Daily Mirror, former Arsenal man Wright said: “What’s happened to Shaqiri? What’s happening?
“Who did he [Klopp] bring on in front of him [against Fulham]? I have seen he has brought other players on in front of Shaqiri.
“We have seen that Shaqiri has made a difference earlier on in the season. You say his form has dropped, but it seems to me like something has happened.”

It could just be that Shaqiri has an injury of some kind that has been bad enough to prevent him being at 100% fitness, but not bad enough to keep him out completely.
The Reds could certainly do with having him to come off the bench and make an impact over the last couple of months of the season.
After the international break, the picture will become clearer, but if something has happened, then it needs nipping in the bud quickly – we can’t afford for it to turn into a bigger story than it already is.
