Impressive stat crowns Reds as the league’s comeback kings

Last night’s dramatic 3-1 win at St Mary’s represented yet another occasion for late celebrations.

In our past three games, we’ve taken our sweet time to net the decisive goal.

It was an 81-minute winner in the Fulham game, incredible last-minute pandemonium in the Tottenham Hotspur match, and now an extraordinary Mo Salah goal to put us ahead in the 80th minute against Southampton.

The Reds have won 16 points from losing positions this season, which is the most in the Premier League.

While last night’s Saints side have now lost 23 points from leading positions – the worst record in the division.

For rival fans, our last-gasp victories demonstrate our apparent undeserved fortune; but we know that it’s really a sign of our persistence and indefatigable determination.

We’re not going anywhere! There’s five matches to go and realistically we need to try and win all of them to lift the Premier League trophy.

These hard-fought wins will be a massive boost to our morale, as much as they’ll sap the spirit out of Pep Guardiola’s men.
