Why Burger King are tweeting about James Milner

It’s likely a shameless publicity stunt to get retweets and gullible fools like us to talk about it online – but fair play – it’s worked!

Burger King randomly declared on Twitter yesterday that Liverpool stalwart James Milner is ‘underrated’, in response to a customer saying the same about themselves!

The tweet went viral and has been linked by almost 34,000 people already!

Milner has become a much-loved footballer amongst all fans, not only Reds, due to his humble lifestyle and no-nonsense approach.

He’s also a terrific player, who despite being 33-years-old, is still a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield.

The boss trusts Milly implicitly and if we were in the Champions League Final tomorrow, you can bet the Englishman would be starting ahead of £50m summer signing Naby Keita – for example.

Due to his professionalism though, we’re not sure a Burger King would be on the menu for Milner – even if we’d just won the thing!

He’ll likely re-enter Klopp’s side for tomorrow’s clash with FC Porto, perhaps at the expense of Gini Wijnaldum, who’s looked slightly tired in our past two wins.
