(Video) Why Liverpool fans hyping up a Naby Keita back-pass

To the untrained eye, this is perhaps the least impressive highlight from any player in any match ever!

And in terms of skill, we’d agree – it’s not anything to write home about.

But Liverpool fans on Twitter are using this moment from Naby Keita on Sunday to show how his confidence and game-intelligence has improved.

Despite being 2-0 up in the second-half v Chelsea, Eden Hazard was getting in on our goal at will and the team’s structure had dissipated following Mo Salah’s stunner.

What we needed was a calming influence – someone to take the fire out of the game – and for some reason; Keita slowing down its tempo, asking his team-mates to chill out and showing how he relaxed he was with this piece of skill and playing back to Alisson, did just that.

From this point onwards, Chelsea’s potential comeback was snuffed out and we waltzed the rest of the fixture.

Keita enjoyed another good performance – making it three on the spin under Jurgen Klopp who seems to finally trust the Guinean.

He’s skilful, can run with the ball and pass quickly – as well as get into the box and help our forwards score goals.

This clip isn’t exactly evidence of it, but he’s finally coming good!
