Benitez: Why Klopp can win both PL and CL with Liverpool

Rafa Benitez famously won the Champions League against all the odds in 2005, with a team that included Djimi Traore and Milan Baros – among others.

Benitez thinks his friend Klopp has the tools to win both the Champions League and the Premier League, because of the brilliance of our front-three and the intensity with which they work.

Of course, Rafa’s Newcastle will play a part in our ability to loft the domestic title aloft – considering we play them at St. James’ Park on the second last day of the season.

You can see his quotes in the tweet below:

We very much hope the Spaniard is right, but first, we have a trip to relegation battlers Cardiff at the weekend.

Neil Warnock will delight in ruining our charge – and we’ll equally enjoy sending the loathsome Englishman down to the Championship.

Four more Premier League wins are needed – and maybe three more in Europe, too!
