Robbo explains Ox’s hilarious forfeit due to our left-back’s assist haul

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has to stick a signed Andy Robertson shirt up in his house, after the Scot reached double figures for assists in the Premier League this season!

Robbo notched two more against Huddersfield on Friday evening, to bring his domestic tally to 11 – while he already has three in the Champions League with a semi-final beckoning on Wednesday evening.

The pair had a bet at the start of the season – and we’re now hoping to see our fit again midfielder fulfil his end of the bargain!

“Of course, yeah! When I walked up to him at half-time I said: ‘Where’s it gonna go?!’” Robertson told Liverpoolfc.com.

“I want it above his bed so he’s always reminded of me every time he goes to sleep! At the start of the season it was a bit of banter, he said: ‘If you get 10 Premier League assists, sign a shirt and I’ll put it up on my wall.’

“I don’t think he expected me to get and he started panicking – but I’m glad to get it and there’ll be a ‘Robertson 26’ shirt up there next season!”

It was tremendous to see Ox back in Red a few days back.

He’s not going to start at Camp Nou, but we might see the Englishman off the bench following his impressive Premier League cameo in which he almost scored after a few minutes.

Robbo on the other hand is nailed on to start every remaining game of this season, providing he stays fit.

The Scot has established himself as arguably the best left-back on the planet – and we just hope he can cement that reputation with some silverware.
