Liverpool star considering sending Brendan Rodgers a message

Liverpool could be crowned Premier League champions at the weekend, but the Reds need help from former manager Brendan Rodgers if that’s to happen.

Leicester City are up against Manchester City today and if the Foxes are able to take points off our title rivals then it’ll be advantage Liverpool.

The 2015/16 League champions made a good account of themselves in their earlier outing; smashing Arsenal 3-0 so hopefully spirits are high.

Leicester can take eighth place from Everton if they manage to take all three points off of City. Just sayin’.

Skipper Jordan Henderson has recently revealed that he’s considering sending his former manager a message ahead of their clash.

The lads will watch Monday’s game and, yeah, pray for a miracle,” he’s quoted as saying by the Metro.

I’m sure Leicester, who are a great team, will go and give everything. Will I send Brendan a text? No. Well, maybe. I’ll think about it.

City are a great team but so are we. Whoever gets the title will deserve it. We couldn’t have done any more, we can’t have any regrets.

It’s going to the last game and we need to finish on a high at Anfield and pray that something, a miracle, can happen.

The Reds now sit atop the Premier League table and it’ll stay that way going into the last game of the season if Man City drop points against Leicester.
