Daniel Sturridge isn’t enjoying the best period of his Liverpool career, but he’s featured for the Reds in the last two Premier League fixtures against Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United.
He hasn’t managed to find the back of the net, but that hasn’t stopped the former England international from impressing.
His overall performance hasn’t been great in the last week or so, but there was a moment against Newcastle that really was nothing if not class.
As the Reds look to break and counter, Sadio Mane runs down the left-wing and Sturridge plays him a perfectly weighted pass – similar to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s assist for Mo Salah a few weeks back.
