Klopp nails it on Champions League ticket fiasco

Jurgen Klopp says it is ‘irresponsible’ of UEFA to allow the fiasco over Champions League final tickets and says he has great sympathy with Reds supporters unable to get their hands them.

Speaking to the assembled journalists for his pre-Wolves press conference at Melwood, much attention was focused on the game against Barcelona and the upcoming final in Madrid, despite the Premier League title race going down to the final day.

As well as the tiny allocation for the Wanda Metropolitano, hotel and flight costs have rocketed as is always the case, leaving people forced to find roundabout ways of reaching the game or face paying huge amounts of money out.

As ever, Klopp has nailed the issue – but whether anything gets done is another matter.

Despite the shocking allocation and price issues, Reds fans will be out in force over in Spain, with Klopp’s men favourites to bring home number six.
