LFC winger announces departure, but promises to support us in CL Final

We were tremendously excited when Liverpool signed prodigal winger Bobby Adekanye four years ago.

The Dutchman was arriving from Barcelona and had an enormous reputation, and while doing well for our U18 side, has never truly threatened to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans.

Now, Adekanye is departing to join Lazio – and shared an emotional tribute on Twitter about the club.

The flyer even promised to support us in the Champions League Final, while hoping that one day in the future, we’ll meet again.

Adekanye isn’t the only young winger with a complicated Liverpool situation right now.

Ryan Kent, who’s been at Rangers, is likely for sale, while we reckon Harry Wilson will head on another loan spell – having shone for Derby in the Championship.

Ben Woodburn’s situation is up in the air, while Sheyi Ojo hasn’t done enough on loan at Reims to suggest he has a long-term future.

Rhian Brewster will be fully promoted to the first-team, however, in time for 2018/19.
