Harry Kane’s subtle Twitter post hints at CL Final news

Tottenham are currently sweating on the fitness of three automatic starters ahead of the Champions League Final.

They are Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose – but judging by a Twitter post made by the former – two of the trio look to be winning the race to feature.

Kane uploaded this snap of him and the Belgian alongside Davison Sanchez, during a training session. He also used two emojis, one of a runner and one of a male symbol – not that we think there was any confusion on this point!

Vertonghen is arguably the second best central defender in the country behind Virgil van Dijk, so he’ll do Spurs a massive favour if he’s ready.

Ben Davies is a decent deputy for Rose, but the Englishman is the better player and has enjoyed a solid season – so will also boost Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit if he can start.

Kane is world-class, but this season has oddly shown that he doesn’t necessarily make Spurs a better team.

With Kane starting, one of Heung-Min Son or Lucas Moura will likely be on the bench – and right now we’d consider them just as dangerous.

Liverpool’s fitness concerns revolve mostly around Roberto Firmino, but the Brazilian is training fully now. Naby Keita, sadly, won’t be able to start – and we think it unlikely that he’ll make the bench either.
