Michael Edwards has identified Hull City goalkeeper David Marshall as the man to replace Simon Mignolet this summer, according to Football Insider.
The 34-year-old Scot will be available for free this summer when his contract expires next month, and he has a wealth of experience having played for the likes of Celtic and Cardiff City throughout his career.

He was, in fact, linked with a move to the Reds some years ago when Brendan Rodgers was keen on bringing him in, but the move never materialised at the time.
While it might appear to be a strange signing, it actually makes a lot of sense. Marshall would be likely to accept sitting on the bench week in, week out, and he would rarely be called upon.
Wasting money on an expensive back-up who might not be required to play at all as long as Alisson is fit and available would not be a good idea, so getting someone in with experience, on a relatively low wage and at an age where he would be grateful to be at a big club could be ideal.
It would be great if Mignolet would be happy to stick around, with Jurgen Klopp very pleased with his attitude so far, but if he does push for a move, this could be the next best thing.
