Tottenham’s Likely XI v Liverpool in CL Final: Heung-Min Son on the bench

We reckon Mauricio Pochettino will select a robust midfield v Liverpool and crucially, go with semi-final hat-trick hero Lucas Moura up top with Harry Kane.

The Brazilian notched three v Ajax in 35 minutes to send Spurs to Madrid, and did very well against us at Anfield earlier in the season, too.

For this reason, we think he’ll get the nod over the superb Heung-Min Son – who can provide pace and skill off the bench.

Kane has declared himself fully fit, so we think the Englishman, Tottenham’s talisman, will simply have to lead their line…

If Poch goes with four at the back, he’ll pick Danny Rose at left-back, Kieran Trippier on the right, with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in the middle. Hugo Lloris starts in goal.

In midfield, we think Victor Wanyama will hold – with three fluid, versatile and box-to-box players around him in Moussa Sissoko, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.

It’s a very, very dangerous team and it has class all over. Matches between Poch and Jurgen Klopp are always very good – and we expect this to be no different.

Predicted Spurs XI: Lloris; Trippier, Rose, Vertonghen, Alderweireld; Wanyama, Eriksen, Sissoko, Ali; Moura, Kane
