Three predictions for Liverpool’s UCL final clash with Spurs

Liverpool are up against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final this Saturday in Madrid, and they’re arguably strong favourites going into it.

Ahead of the clash at the home of Atletico Madrid, I’m here to offer three predictions for the biggest game in the football calendar.

A red card most likely for Spurs’ star

It’s an emotional affair for both clubs and players like Dele Alli have often found themselves on the wrong side of the match officials. If the game goes Liverpool’s way, I can honestly see someone like Dele losing his head and being given his marching orders.

Liverpool fans’ dominance

A bit of an off-beat prediction, but I suspect for the entirety of the game, the atmosphere will be swallowed by the Liverpool faithful. Just by looking at videos online, Spurs fans haven’t been as vocal as the Reds thus far.

Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur

My final prediction is a simple one – I think the Reds are more equipped for a Champions League final and the magnitude of the situation will be far too much for Spurs’ squad.

The Londoners have a lot of talent in their team and I think they’ll deny Alisson a clean sheet, but Liverpool will grab a trio of goals to deliver number six to Anfield.
