Wolves reportedly make offer to Reds man who’s on the way out

Wolves have tabled an offer for Liverpool youngster Rafa Camacho, according to Football Insider.

The versatile 19-year-old, who can play as a winger and at full-back, only has one year left on his contract with the Reds, and has not been persuaded to re-sign, making him likely to move on this summer.

The Reds are to ask for around £10 million for his services, a drastically reduced fee for a highly-rated player, rather than lose him for nothing more than a compensation fee next July.

Sporting Lisbon and RB Leipzig are also said to be in for the wide-man, although it appears that Wolves have made the first move.

As a Portuguese youth international, Camacho would join several other fellow countrymen at Molyneux, including midfielders Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho, as well as manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

It would be a shame for the Reds to lose Camacho, who clearly has talent, but this is a deal that we can certainly see going through. He has no intention of staying and wants first team football now.
