Sean Paul stuns crowd with rendition of Liverpool chant

Global music star Sean Paul appears to have kept an eye on the Reds this season following a random act of fandom during a gig in Liverpool.

The Jamaican singer even took the time to put a Reds shirt on over his outfit as he belted out a famous chant. The audience loved it; joining in and jumping with the artist.

Sean Paul makes a heart with his hands as the gig goers instinctively join in with the ‘Allez Allez Allez’ song.

The singer then paid tribute to the club – and city – by rounding his performance off by saying “Liverpool, we love you, thank you very much.”

The concert was supposed to take place at the M&S Arena on the waterfront, but a last minute change saw the Liverpool Guild of Students host the Jamaican and his fans.

The Reds, as you may have heard, were crowned champions of Europe over the weekend following a 2-0 victory over Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Sean Paul has previously confessed his love for Coventry City, but it now seems that Jurgen Klopp’s men may be close to his heart.

We’ve seen this kind of thing before, of course, as global artists – like Snoop Dogg – have often donned shirts of local football teams of the location where their gig is taking place.
