First official photos of Liverpool’s new away kit have been revealed

Liverpool and New Balance have today launched the new white away kit which will be used by the Reds next season.

The strip is part of the last instalment of New Balance at Anfield as their contract with the cub is set to run out, and the Reds keen on securing a new manufacturer on an improved deal.

The latest kit is a fairly basic white number – with New Balance moving away from the striking colours they’ve used in the past.

The away kit follows the trend of the home shirt by having Bob Paisley’s signature on the inside of the collar. The legendary manager would have celebrated his 100th birthday next year.

Some fans have labelled the ‘boring’ and ‘dull’, but I think it’s simple and effective. The collar is also quite interesting as the material seems to overlap in a v-shape in a way I can’t think I’ve seen before on a football kit.

The new home kit didn’t go down brilliantly when it was first announced, but it’s certainly grown on fans since the reveal.

It helps that the Reds wore the new kit during the Champions League victory parade, I’m sure, and with the ‘6’ Champions League patches, it’ll be a success.
