A neutral commentator can sometimes come across a little dry with certain fans – I’m thinking Martin Tyler and anyone that doesn’t support Manchester United.
The man sounds like he’s describing a cookery programme when Liverpool score some phenomenal goals that have Reds’ fans bouncing.
That isn’t the case for LFC’s commentators Steve Hunter and John Aldridge. While remaining professional, these guys sound as if they’re about to burst into tears during the Champions League final.
