Liverpool defender agrees to join Serie A giants, according to reports

Dejan Lovren has been subject of interest from Serie A club AC Milan this summer, and it may seem as if the Croatian centre back fancies the move.

According to Sempre Milan, the Champions League winner has decided to pack up his things at Anfield and make the move over to Italy.

Liverpool are demanding £18million, as per the same report, but reputable Daily Times journalist Paul Joyce claims the Reds would laugh off any offer below £25million.

Lovren has two years remaining on his deal at Anfield, and I just can’t see the club willing to accept such a low offer for an experienced member of the squad.

He mightn’t be the first name on the team sheet, but Dejan is a well-respected member of the dressing room and Jurgen Klopp won’t be in a rush to offload him.

Even at the suggestion of £25million – you aren’t guaranteed to get a player of Lovren’s ability and experience. He keeps Mo Salah happy, and why should we disturb the squad when we’d benefit very little?

Sempre Milan are by no means a reliable news source, but we think they’re wrong on this one and Dejan will be a member of the squad for next season.
