Reds linked with move for bargain £30 million star – and simply must make a move

Liverpool are again one of the names being linked with a move for Morocco and Ajax star Hakim Ziyech, who is available for a fee of around £30 million, according to the Daily Mail.

The versatile attacker can play on either wing or as more of a number 10, and would therefore be a perfect player to add into the mix ahead of the new season.

Ziyech is still only 26 and notched an incredibly impressive 21 goals and 24 assists last campaign, where he was one of the main men for Ajax as they reached the Champions League semi-finals.

Ajax chief Marc Overmars has already confirmed that he can leave as long as his relatively low price-tag is met, with Arsenal also being linked.

It is thought that the price is so low because he has a release clause, so Ziyech is certainly attainable. He would also fit in with the wage structure of the club – one of the factors in making a swoop for Matthijs de Ligt next to impossible from the start.

For a fee of only around £30 million, Ziyech could be the bargain of the summer.
