Salah rejects £150 million moves away to stay at Anfield – Mirror Sport

This one seems fairly far-fetched to us but Mohamed Salah has allegedly rejected £150 million moves away from Anfield, according to exclusive reports from Mirror Sport.

Purportedly, Real Madrid and Juventus were willing to table record-breaking offers for the Egyptian King, but we’re not sure its news that he wants to stay.

Having just been crowned a European Champion with the Reds, won the Premier League Golden Boot for the second successive season, and with 100 goal involvements in 104 games, why would he want to go anywhere else?

There’s nowhere better to be right now than under Jürgen Klopp at Liverpool – Salah is more than just a Kop favourite, he’s established himself as one of the best players in the world at the moment.

Although Mirror Sport claim the 26-year-old has had his head turned slightly by the chance to be a Galatico at Real, or a return to Italy where he began his upward trajectory, we don’t think there’s a chance of it happening any time soon.

Salah is a celebrated hero at Anfield and he knows now is not the time to leave the club.

Mirror Sport have also suggested Salah has put decision makers at Liverpool on their toes by articulating a desire to evalate his current situation with the Reds and could revist his future in 12 months.

Klopp himself has apparently been alerted to Salah’s speculated exit, with Mirror Sport reporting that he has spoken to top brass at the club about the situation.

Sadio Mané has also been the subject of interest from other clubs, which is understandable given his shared Golden Boot award with Salah and his deadly form in Europe. He too, has declared his intention to stay with Liverpool.

With our fans, this manager, and this team, there’s no limit to what can be achieved; we’re glad Salah is here for the foreseeable and ready to kick on next term as we look to finally get our hands on the Premier League title in the coming season.
