Marko Grujic arrived in Liverpool as one of the most promising players to come from Serbia in a number of years.
The then 19-year-old was immediately loaned back to Red Star Belgrade – a wise move as he’s struggled to break into the Reds’ starting XI since.
Grujic spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, and has turned a few heads during his time in Germany.

The Serbian could be an auxiliary backup for Jurgen Klopp’s midfield this season, but it remains to be seen if he’d be happy with such a squad role.
