Something very strange has happened out in the Serengeti and it relates to Nabil Fekir and a possible, but very odd, connection to the Reds.
An unknown Tanzanian man by the name of Hussein Fayyaz Dhirani tweeted photo evidence on Saturday of his friend with Fekir in the Serengeti.
My friend met Nabil Fekir in the Serengeti. He asked him whether Liverpool was an option for him. He replied that he definitely wants to come and that they will start working on it once he gets back.

Yes, we know, it’s pretty weird and we can’t really say for sure whether this surreal evidence points to a deal for Fekir being worked on behind closed doors.
But it’s sent Reds fans into a spiral of Sherlock Holmes-esque logical reasoning and investigation.
One Red even went so far as to contact a hot air baloon captain called Jones Temba, who was pictured with Fekir on Instagram, in order to get to the bottom of the mystery.
His reply suggested that Fekir, or indeed Liverpool, will allegedly move forward on whatever is going on “after his holiday”.

Even a journalism student, @MaaxiAngelo on Twitter, has offered his analysis, digging deep to establish the truth of the matter and it seems it is neither a ruse nor a fake. It’s still moot though.

Regardless of whether Jürgen Klopp is planning a secret move to reignite the failed transfer of the Lyon playmaker, you have to admire the enterprise and dedication of our fans.
Carl Markham in The Independent has downplayed any suggestions Liverpool would go back in for Fekir; while outlets in his native France [Le Progrès via The Mirror] suggest the opposite.
We’ll have to see whether this hot air baloon escapade in the Serengeti is just hot air or whether it’s actually going to take off as a legitimate transfer.
